I Just Don’t Have Time
Your life is busy because you make it that way. You cram your schedule full of appointments and obligations to the point that your calendar will burst. Your schedule is so full you’ve made no time for the Lord, no time for your spouse, and little time for rest.
More is not always more. When you say yes to one thing you say no to another. I once heard it said, “You have to prioritize your life or someone else will.”
Make time for the experiences that matter, not the things other people dictate are important for you or your family.
A Light To Your Path
When David spoke to God the words of Psalm 119:105,
Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
He was not just talking about scripture being a spiritual guide. He was prophesying about Christ. Jesus is the Word made flesh.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jesus is the light of the world;
I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.
Jesus was the fulfillment of those prophetic words that David spoke. That light now dwells in you. When you know not what to do, allow the light and life of Christ that dwells in you be a lamp to your path, and keep moving forward one step at a time.
We don’t have to see the whole road, we just have to take the next right step.
